“Folk, blues & country filtered through urban dust”

Campbell’s sound is a blend of acoustic and electric folk styles – from Appalachia and London to the streets of Sydney – combined with blues, country, and Americana. A prolific live artist and winner at the 2024 Fretfest Song Tamworth. 2026 has seen the release of debut album Barely Fed, recorded with his band The Lazy Dog and luminary guests Lara Goodridge, Kim Girdlestone, Lachy Doley, Peter Hollo and Ollie Thorpe.

The Lazy Dog sees regulars Jed Wesley-Smith (Pat Powell, Bek Jensen, The Felas) on bass, Tim Bradley (Mambo Brown Trio, On The Stoop, Amber Kenny) on drums/percussion. And joined by Julian Curwin (The Catholics, The Golden Strangers) on banjitar.

The first taste of Pete's debut album was the single 'The Parts I've Seen' which premiered on Sunburnt Country Musicand Stuart Coupe's Dirt Music on 2SER. The song entered the Amrap National Community Radio Airplay Chart at #20, and the Country/Blues/Roots Chart at #10. It's since seen airplay on 702 ABC Sydney, ABC Country and the wider Australian Community Radio Network.
